Satinsky Vascular Clamps are cardiovascular thoracic instruments (CTIs) used to occlude blood vessels or ducts. They consist of a vascular clamp with a pair of steering arms and a tightening jaw fixed to the distal end in each pivoting component. The clamping jaws can be adjusted between the available spot and the secure location and can also be positioned to form a locked, cylindrical chamber. The clamps are available in multiple combinations, including a vena cava 6 1/2-inch pediatric instrument, jaws 32 mm long x 7 mm deep; 10 1/2-inch jaws, 2 mm long x 9 mm deep; and 10 1/2-inch long jaws, 50 mm x 13 mm deep. The specially designed clamp can be curved or straight and allows straightforward blockage of vessels and ducts.
