The Davidson Scapula Retractors are incredible surgical instruments. It is suitable for cardiovascular surgery for lateral and post-lateral thoracotomy procedures. It helps in scapula retraction and gives better vision in exposing ribs during thoracic opening and closure. The fenestrated large ribbed handle along with anterior-posterior projections provides precise and comfortable grips to surgeons. The square-shaped blade features two parts. The outer part is broader for scapula support. The instrument is positioned in a way to decrease the applied force on bone. The blade width is 3 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" deep, ideal for any type of cardiovascular surgery. Space between blades prevents the soft peri-scapular tissues from any further damage. This excellent instrument is present in large, small, and medium patterns to accommodate various surgeries.
