Femoral Head Extractors are highly versatile surgical instruments specifically designed to help remove the femoral head during MIS Direct Anterior THA and hip fracture hemiarthroplasty/surgery. The perpendicular osteotome supports the osteoporotic bone, while the central osteotome provides a broad visual estimate of penetration to avoid acetabular injury. The T-shaped handle of this instrument helps to obtain the rational torque required to dislocate and rotate the femoral head in direct anterior hip arthroplasty. Overall instrument length is 8 ½”. The body of the instrument is made of 100% medical-grade stainless steel. This metal keeps it lightweight and rustproof. Low maintenance is required due to having high tensile strength and resistance against environmental changes. They are reusable tools that can be cleaned and sterilized easily.
